Homemade - Apple Caramel Cake

2 cups All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 Eggs
2 Apples (peeled and chopped/shredded)
100g Brown Sugar
100g White Sugar
113g Unsalted Butter (softened)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cloves
1/4 cup Caramel Sauce

Ingredients are not hard to gather, and preparation takes only about less than 20 minutes :)

First, preheat your oven at 350 degree celsius. But I set my oven to 250 degree celsius, because that is the limit to mine... While preheating, we can start on the ingredients.

1. Mix flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves. Set aside the flour mixture.
2. Whisk butter and brown & white sugar together until fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time and combine until mixed well.
4. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture, and mix.
5. Add half of the apples, and mix together.
6. Add another third of the flour, and mix again.
7. Add the remaining apples and mix lightly.
8. Last but not least, mix in the remaining flour until thoroughly combined.

Once done, you may pour in half of the batter into the lightly greased loaf pan. Add on caramel sauce over the batter, then cover up with the remaining batter.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. To ensure that it is baked, insert a toothpick, and it should come out with only a crumb or two.



Allow the cake to cool before starting on it! In fact, mine was over-baked, but the inside is still very yummy! Soft and fluffy!

Perhaps I should have sticked to 40-50 minutes baking time instead...
